久石譲さん作曲の「天人の音楽」英語名The Procession of Celestial Beings は2013年に公開されたスタジオジブリの高畑勲監督の遺作「かぐや姫の物語」の挿入曲。日本の古典文学「竹取物語」を原作に作られた映画で、この曲はかぐや姫が月に帰るため、天女が迎えに来る場面で使用されています。

・It's just great. This music, along with the final scene from Princess Kaguya, moves you to tears. The only thing I didn’t understand was why the princess didn’t want to go to the moon. I would love to go there with such a procession.
ただただ素晴らしい、かぐや姫の最後のシーンに加え、この音楽は感涙するよ。たった一つわからないのは、なぜ姫が月へ行きたくなかったのかということだ。私はあんな行列で行ってみたいと思うけど。
・It sounds so shockingly different from the rest of the soundtrack and other worldly from the soundscape Hisaishi had built so far. That this piece just suddenly appears (and in THAT scene) you can't help but be unsettled by it.
サウンドトラックの他の部分とは、とても衝撃的に異なるように聞こえる。それにこれまでに久石が作成してきた音景とは別世界だ。この作品が(あのシーンで)突然登場するの。これには不安になるほかないよ。
・This is perhaps the paradox, these beings are celestial, they come from another world (the moon) and are not affected by emotions. I feel that this piece, which is my favorite, is indeed well chosen because it takes us all by surprise. It shows us reality from the perspective of the celestial beings. They are festive and not connected to worldly emotions, they are free of that. And Princess Kaguya wanted to taste the world of humans and experience what it feels to feel strong emotions such as deep sadness. I could be wrong but this is at least what I felt from this scene. :-)
これはおそらく「逆説」だね。あの存在は天人で、彼らは別な世界(月)から来たんだ。そして感情の影響を受けないんだ。私のお気に入りのこの作品は、私たちをみんな驚かせるので選ばれたんだと思うよ。これは私たちに天人の視点からの現実を見せている。彼らはめでたくて世俗的感情とは関係がなく、それらを持ち合わせていない。かぐや姫は人間の世界を味わうためにそこに行って、深い悲しみのような強い感情を感じることを経験した。間違ってるかもしれないけど、これは少なくともこのシーンで私が感じたことだよ。
・It's "emptiness"... according to Buddhist, it mean leave your emotions behind (hatred, sadness, sorrow... and even happiness, joyce, love) so that you can find only "peace". You can see the Princess emotions dissapeared once she wore the ribbon. She came to The Moon (or actually Shangri-la, The Moon just the story people believed whence Princess came ).
「空虚」…仏教徒によると、感情(憎しみ、悲しみ、憂鬱…そして幸せ、喜び、愛までも)から逃れることだ、だから「平穏」だけを感じることができる。姫が羽衣を羽織ったとき、感情が消えたのを見ることができる。彼女は月へ(もしくは、月というのは物語の登場人物がそう信じてるだけで、まさに極楽へ)行ったんだよ。
