三浦大知 (Daichi Miura) / Unlock -Choreo Video with Koharu Sugawara-
歌いながらの激しいダンスを同時にこなし、無音ダンスでも有名な三浦大知さん。紅白歌合戦にも連続で出場したことで日本での知名度を確かなものにしています。
今回紹介するのはそんな三浦さんが世界的ダンサー菅原小春さんとコラボレーションしたMV。Unlockは2015年にリリースされた曲でテレビドラマ「ゴーストライター」のopにも起用された曲です。振り付けも菅原さんと三浦さんの共作で、女性ダンサーとの共作は初めてだということです。
菅原さんが世界的に活躍していることもあり、海外からは彼女目当てで動画を見る方が多いようですが、しなやかな三浦さんのダンスと比較したコメントも多くありました。

・I love the slight changes that she makes with the choreography to make it hers. I would love to see her do more of Miura's choreography because it suits her VERY well. Miura can be very loose and light when dancing, which makes watching her even more enjoyable because of her quick snaps, jolts, and pops, so to speak. Seeing someone else's physical interpretation of existing choreography is so inspiring to dancers who feel they have to be like someone else in order to be good. Watching these two great dancers do the same choreography according to their individual spirit is more than entertaining, it's amazingly beautiful. I'm star struck.

・It's amazing to compare the two of them. Koharu Sugawara has a very precise style of someone who has been perfectly trained while Daichi Miura represents more of the usual person's feel. His movements aren't as precise, but the way he dances is a bit more fresh as if he is representing those who just dance for fun.
