マッドマンアニメのYouTubeアカウントから公開された『ハウルの動く城』の予告編。『ハウルの動く城』は2004年にスタジオジブリの宮崎駿監督が作成した映画で、ハウルの役を国民的アイドルグループ スマップの木村拓哉さんが務めたことで話題になりました。原作はイギリスの作家ダイアナ・ウィン・ジョーンズの小説で日本語タイトルは『魔法使いハウルと火の悪魔』。映画は原題の『Howl's Moving Castle』をそのまま翻訳した形になっています。
原作者のジョーンズは映画化にあたり「ハウルの性格を変えないように」と注文を付けましたが、映画が原作とは全く違った展開になったにもかかわらず、映画を絶賛しています。マッドマン・エンターテイメントはオーストラリア・ニュージーランドで映画やアニメの配給と権利管理を行うオーストラリアの企業です。
