聖者たち_People In The Box 【海外の反応】「東京グール！」「日本最高のベース」「最初の曲もいい」

People In The Boxは2003年に結成されたスリーピースのロックバンド。

2曲目の「聖者たち」は大人気漫画「東京グール」のアニメED曲として使われ、爽やかな曲調や主人公の心情と重なる歌詞がアニメファンの心を掴みました。

「2曲目目当てだったのにいつのまにか1曲目も好きになっていた」という人も多く、曲の質が高いことがうかがえるバンドです。

・Songs like this from Japan, especially indie rock always tend to make me cry even though i don't understand it or I just heard it for the first time, it still give me goosebumps even how many times I've listened to it. Those kind of songs from Japan are giving me a nostalgic vibe and just let my kept sadness to burst and tear out. Aside from crying to these songs, I also listen to them whenever I feel stressed, problematic, and bored (just like now)

これみたいな日本からの歌、特にインディーロックは理解できなくても、初めて聞いてもいつも私を泣かせるし、何回聞いてもまだ鳥肌がたつ傾向がある。こういう種類の日本の歌は懐かしい雰囲気を与えてくれて、私の悲しみを爆発させて引き裂こうとする。こういう歌で泣くのはさておき、私はストレスを感じた時も、問題がある時も、(今みたいに)退屈な時もいつでも彼らの歌を聞くよ。
