マッドマンアニメのYouTubeアカウントから公開された『耳をすませば』の予告編。『耳をすませば』は1989年に少女漫画雑誌『りぼん』で柊あおいさんによって連載されていたマンガで、2022年10月14日には実写映画の公開も予定されています。スタジオジブリでは脚本を宮崎駿さん、監督を近藤喜文さんが務めています。英語タイトルは「Whisper of the Heart」。日本の中学生の日常を描いた作品ですが、海外からもまるで自分の身に起きたことのように懐かしいとのコメントが多数寄せられる作品です。のちに大河ドラマ「おんな城主 直虎」で小野政次を演じ大ブレイクした高橋一生さんが演じる主人公の恋人 天沢聖司も海外の女性にも人気です。マッドマン・エンターテイメントはオーストラリア・ニュージーランドで映画やアニメの配給と権利管理を行うオーストラリアの企業です。
