Netflixで公開された実写版『ONE PIECE』。尾田栄一郎さんの原作も20年以上放映されているアニメも世界中にたくさんのファンを持っています。人気の出たアニメは実写化されることが多いですが、ワンピースはゴム人間になった主人公が仲間を集めながら海を旅する物語で、主人公のアクションがCG必須の他、魚人、電伝虫など現実には存在しない生物が登場し、訪れる島の個性的な生態系の表現など実写化にはいくつものハードルを越える必要があるとされてきました。そのため実写版作成が発表された時には多くのファンが不安視していたようですが1期は2024年6月にはNetflixTV部門断トツの7200万回視聴を記録し、90か国以上でランキング1位を獲得しました。この人気により2期製作が決定していましたが、ついに撮影が開始され続々と集まるクルーの様子にファンも期待と喜びのコメントを残しています。
