世界的人気を誇る漫画『ONE PIECE』。Netflixで実写化されることが決定していましたが、ついにティーザー映像が初公開されました。キャスト発表当時は賛否両論が起こりましたが、原作者として監修を務めた尾田栄一郎さんも「ONE PIECEが世界に向けて大きく踏み出せるチャンスはこれが最後だと思います。やるからには自分の現役中に監修したい！という思いで2016年に着工しました…2023年の公開と発表されたけど、僕が納得できなかったら公開を延期すると約束してくれてます。各国全製作陣、全キャストが作品への愛に満ちています!!」とコメントされ、原作者お墨付きの出来であることがうかがえます。実写版『ONE PIECE』はNetflixで8月31日より独占配信されます。コメントは英語版からとっていますが、映像はNerflixJapanからあがった同じ動画の字幕付きのものを掲載しています。
・The cast will probably get more attention for how well they embody The Crew, but the show's crew, specifically the production designers, deserve a huge pat on the back for how good this looks.
キャストは多分、いかにクルーを体現しているかでより注目を集めるだろう。でもこの番組のスタッフ、特にプロダクションデザイナーはこの見た目の良さのことで大きな称賛に値するよ。

このトレーラーが公開されて以来、すごく何度も見たよ。マジでこれが待ちきれない。来月のワンピースデー(7月21日~22日東京ビッグサイトで開催)中は完全版のトレーラーが見たいな。
