令和5年5月1日、MAPPAのYouTubeチャンネルより、『地獄楽』のノンクレジットオープニング映像が公開されました。使用されている曲はKing Gnuでも活躍する常田大希さん率いるバンドmillennium paradeと椎名林檎さんがオープニングテーマとして書き下ろした『Ｗ●ＲＫ』。『地獄楽』は賀来ゆうじさんによる江戸時代後期を舞台にした同名のアクション時代劇マンガを原作とするアニメです。原作は不気味なほど美しい世界や宗教芸術を取り入れたキャラクターなど繊細で鮮やかな作風が人気ですが、オープニングをみた外国人からはお気に入りのショットやアングルについてのコメントも多く、ファンの期待を裏切らない仕上がりとなったようです。

・The low shot at 0:04 of the brothers walking by is such an iconic shot for anime characters, It'll never not be fire.

・This and Oshi No Ko's Opening are the best openings of this season

・The part after 0:51 is so good tho...the transition with sagiri's face covered in blood was awesome

・0:09-0:20 is easily my favorite part out of this entire opening, the angles and the music at that point
