藤本タツキさん原作のアニメ『チェンソーマン』。第1話のエンディングはシンガーソングライターをはじめマルチアーティストとして活躍するVaundyの『CHAINSAW BLOOD』がスペシャルムービーとともに放映されました。サビで繰り返し「CHAINSAW BLOOD」と叫ぶ歌詞やバンドのようなロックな曲調がアニメの世界観によく合っていると世界中で話題になり、2022年末の第73回NHK紅白歌合戦にも出場が決定しています。

このアニメは毎回異なるエンディングが用意されていることが話題になりましたが、クオリティの高いエンディングが毎週放送される中、第1話のエンディングを気に入る人が多く、放映が進む中でもMappaの公式YouTubeチャンネルから公開されたこのエンディングを聞きに戻って来る方もいるようです。

・Still the best ED song for me. Kick back is sooo goood, but we all knew Chainsaw Blood is the right OP for this show. In my opinion, kick back deserves as one of the ending song. This song is sooo good that everytime I am watching CSM's new episode, I came back to this ️ masterpiece ️ PEAK TALENT.

　俺にとって未だに最高のED曲。キックバックはめっちゃいいよ。だけど、CHAINSAW BLOODはこの番組のOPに相応しいってみんな思ってた。俺的にはキックバックはエンディングソングの1つとしてふさわしいな。この歌はめっちゃ良くて、チェンソーマンの新しい話を見るたびに、これに戻って来る。傑作。才能の頂点。
