藤本タツキさん原作のアニメ、チェンソーマンは2022年10月からアニメの放映が開始されました。チェンソーの悪魔であるポチタと暮らすデビルハンターのデンジは雇い主のヤクザに裏切られ殺されますが、ポチタとの悪魔の契約により不死身のチェンソーマンとして蘇り、新たなデビルハンターとして活躍します。原作マンガも大人気でアニメ化のハードルが上がっていましたが、Mappaから第1話の予告編がリリースされるとたった6時間で100万回再生されるなど世界中で話題になっています。原作ファンにとって映像は申し分ない出来だったようで、アニメーションの品質や制作スタジオをたたえる声が多数上がりました。また、この予告編にエンディングテーマとして記されていた12のアーティストの12の曲がチェンソーマン1期の話数を物語っていることに気付いた人もいるようです。

・Some people may be upset that MAPPA only confirmed 12 total episodes to be released for now, but frankly, I see that as a win in knowing they won’t be rushing the story.

・This 15 second preview got me so hyped up, a huge round of applause for the animators and staff working on this. We will get a different ending theme performed by a different artist each episode, this shows the amount of effort and love they are putting in making Chainsaw Man. This is definitely going to be a good competitor for anime of the year.
