マンガが2021年1月4日で1000話を迎えた尾田栄一郎作のワンピース。ついにテレビアニメも2021年11月21日に1000話を達成しました。漫画は1997年に少年ジャンプで連載が始まり、全世界累計発行部数は4億8000万部以上となっています。「ウィーアー!」は1999年に放送が始まったアニメの初代オープニングソングで、ワンピースの「顔」とするべく歌詞先行で作られた曲です。20年以上も放送を続けるアニメではこれまでに多くのOPが使われてきましたが、1000話放送記念にはサプライズで初代オープニングが流されました。映像も初代のオマージュで20年もの旅を経た仲間たちの姿が描かれています。
