『極主夫道』は2018年からウェブコミックサイトに連載されています。作者はおおのこうすけ さん。かつて「不死身の龍」と呼ばれた元ヤクザの強面主夫が怪しい言動で周囲を誤解させながら料理、洗濯、掃除等の家事に全力投球するコメディマンガです。2020年10月にはテレビドラマ化、2021年春にはアニメ化され、ネットフリックスで全世界に配信されました。それに先駆けて作られたのがこの動画です。YouTubeで2019年12月27日に公開され、津田健次郎さんが主演・監督を務めています。この動画の原作再現度の高さからドラマ版が酷評されるほどの出来の良さで、同じく津田さんが主演を務めるアニメを先に見た海外のファンからも高い支持を得ています。
