恐山ル・ヴォワールは少年漫画「SHAMAN KING」の主人公の麻倉葉が持霊のマタムネとともに恐山に向かい、ヒロインの恐山アンナと出会う話のサブタイトルです。マタムネはエピソードの中で恐山ル・ヴォワールという詩を読みますが、この詩にSHAMAN KINGのファンだったかぴたろうさんが作曲し初音ミクに歌わせました。これを原作者の武井宏之さんが絶賛、2011年に恐山アンナの声優を務める林原めぐみさんにカバーを依頼し、ニコニコ動画で発表されました。現在放映されているテレビアニメのリメイク版で初めて映像化された同エピソードでは、林原めぐみさんが歌う同楽曲が流され、大きな話題を呼びました。
