2023年7月14日に公開されたスタジオジブリ宮﨑駿監督の最新作「君たちはどう生きるか」。同9月にはGKIDのYouTubeアカウントより米国向けの予告編が公開されましたが、予告編だけで感涙してしまう海外ファンもいるようです。宮﨑監督はこれまでも映画が完成する度にこの映画を最後に引退すると宣言を行っており、今回も同様の発表を行いましたが、監督の年齢や自伝的内容から海外のファンも本当にこれが最後になるかもしれないと感じているようです。また、ジブリの3Dアニメへの挑戦に批判を向けたり、ジブリの中でも宮﨑駿監督作品にのみ触れるファンがいるなど、海外にも熱烈な宮﨑ファン、ジブリファンがいることがわかります。(GKIDSはインディーズアニメに焦点を当てたアメリカ合衆国の映画配給会社)
